2004 Lincoln Towncar, recently had a tire changed and now the air shocks work iintermittenly . Will jacking up the car with out turning off the air suspension damage the air shocks?

I am no expert in this, but I am going to guess that there is one or more sensors that determine when to inflate or deflate your air shocks - you may have thrown the system out of whack by not shutting off the system first. You may have to check with the dealer to see if there is a way you can re-calibrate the sensors to the shocks

I had the same thing on mine it was a sensor for the shock. Bad thing is the sensor is in the shock you have to determine what shock and replace it. Get ready it is not cheap about 500.00

My auto load leveling sensor has gone bad on my 2003 Tahoe Lt. The air pump has been recently replaced, so is there a way to by-pass the circuit boards and even the air pump and just take the air intake...

No, but you can put the 50-80$ sensor in too correct the system considering you just spent 500-600$ to have the pump replaced. Or you can just put non-air rear shocks on the vehicle although the suspension system will generate a warning message on the dash.

Rear air ride system is not working , seems there are no aftermarket non air ride shocks available , suggest alternative non air ride shock for this year ?

I hate to break the news to you but there are not any available. If the car needs shocks you have to get the air ride one from a dealer parts department.

The good news is....the shocks are probably not your problem...there are valves and sensors, as well as tubing and a pump...any of which could be the problem.

My shocks are overacting. 2000 Buick LeSabre

Yes, it is the sensor that measures the height of the car and tells the system to stop pumping air.

I quick fix - just pull the fuse on the air pump if you want to stop it for now.

THe sensor may just have mud on it. Look near the rear wheel, driver's side, you may have to remove the tire to see the sensor.

1998 Seville SLS, 42,000 mi, Limit speed to 90mph.

it mean that one of the electronic load leveling sensor is not reading. that sensor tells the air pump to fill up that air shock or air bag. the sensors maybe reasonable price wise but if the sensor is reading that an air shock is not holding air pressure and an air shock is not cheap.
