Question about 1995 Ford Taurus
Need rear suspension diagrams
Your best bet for a diagram is to ask for a suspension printout at your local dealership. Or take a look under any 86-95 Ford Taurus SLO, SHO, or Sable and they use the same design (the SHO just uses slightly different parts. Here is a link though for a SHO parts list with part numbers. Hope this helps.

the old elantras and accents have problems with the struts siezing up; especially if the vehicle has been lifted/jacked recently.
i see at least a few elantras/accents at the shop every week with locked up struts, its very very common. i am a hyundai tech, so trust me i see this a lot.
to replace the struts you will need a spring compressor and common hand tools.
check the front struts as well, they all tend to go around the same time, push down on one corner of the car at a time, if the car does not come back up after you release pressure, the strut has siezed/locked up.
DO NOT attempt to replace the struts if you dont have a spring compressor...that spring can really mess your day up if you dont properly compress it before removing that top nut.
