Whistling sound from engine after changing front battery

The whistling is possibly the alternator belt loading to charge the battery, listen to the noise and turn on the rear heated screen and headlight, if the pitch of the whistle changes then it's the alternator belt. Hope that helps.

No engine power, loud whistling noise

Not sure why you have changed the parts you have already changed and if you have changed this stuff due to the same codes. Am guessing that the misfire code you are getting is P0304 since you said a msfire in number 4. Now as far as the O2 sensor code you're getting could be a number of different codes depending on what your computer is detecting. I guess what I am getting at is that you hear a whistling noise which could be a vacuum leak but not there to hear it myself. If your O2 sensor code is saying that your vehicles system is running lean (PCM has lower voltage readings 100 mv is lean & 1000 mv would mean rich running conditions so if able check your freeze frame data in your scanner). If running lean then to much air is being detcted which the main cause for that is usually a vacuum leak. A vauum leak can cause a code of a misfire. In most cases a P0300 (multiple misfire) but not in all cases. I may be way off base but you mentioned whistle and the other things so not being there this could be the case and thought I would throw in my input.

I have a high pitch whistle and a roaring noise. Also sounds like my drive shaft is loosening up because of a vibration when i get to a certain speed. Once i get past that speed it is ok. This is a quad...

Drive shaft vibrations are usually associated with the balancing weights on the shaft falling off the shaft or loose mounts.
High pitch whistle and roaring sounds its best diagnosed by a technician who can put the vehicle on a lift and listed for the sounds in order to pin point the locations and determine the cause.

Whistling noise as i am driving

Hi. This will be caused by deteriorating, or defective weather stripping. During driving, air is pushed through worn, or damaged weather stripping, thus, creating this whistling sound you are hearing in the passenger compartment. Water allows the small hole, or cracks, to emit the sound at a louder rate. This could be a manufacturing flaw(poor weather stripping installation, or defective composite). This is repairable, but you will need to locate the worn weather stripping. Once located, and exposed, you can order a replacement weather stripping kit from your dealer.

NOTE_ Most common location will be the front windshield weather stripping. the rear window, and side windows are to be checked, as well.

Audi a3 tdi 140 turbo sounds like its whistling for england why?

Turbo vehicles often sound like they are whistling when the turbo spools up because it is sucking in air at a high rate and it makes a bit of a whistling sound. Generally not a problem unless it is a different whistling that you are referring to.

Wind whistle noise

To determine what's making the whistle, try putting some tape over anything that might be causing it. I'd tape over any trim or moldings to try and find out where its coming from. You might try a wide roll of tape over the window edges, and trim points, if the whistle stops, take off a section at a time and recheck until it appears again, and you know what's causing it. Try to keep the tape flat, or you might create some new whistles! Let me know how you do. countrycurt0
