Hello vienotkelly: The correct Main bolt torque is 42 foot pounds. The connecting rods torque to 29 foot pounds. The torque sequence for the head bolts and the correct way to tighten the bolts are attached to this reply. Thak You for using6bd0ae1.jpg FixYa. Roger

SOURCE: Torque specs for 96 Honda Accord 2.2L

the main bearings bolts is to 1st step 30Nm or 22lbs ft and the last step is 75Nm or 54lbs ft in this tighten secuence. 9 3 1 5 7 on the top bolts and........ ........ ........ ... 8 6 2 4 10 botton bolts and the connecting rod 45Nm or 34 lbs ft i hope be help you

2004 2.0 ltr vw golf head bolt torque spec


Below are a couple pictures that should help. My information for torque is in Nm's instead of foot pounds so you will need to convert it if your torque wrench doesn't have both. Hope this helps..

I need the torque specs for the main bearing and conecting rods for a 2000 chev S-10 W/2.2L engine code (4)


I show the main bearing torque to be 70 ft.lbs.
The rod caps are torqued to 38 ft.lbs.

Hi, im about to replace a head gasket on a 1997 2.8 vr6 mk 3 golf. im unable to obtain a manual and iv got no idea of any torque settings or the tightening sequences? also is there ant thing i should look...


manuals an specs and be had at an auto parts store or a dealership. have the head inspected at a machine shop for warpage or cracks, good idea to get new head bolts and timing belt, good luck

VW Golf mk 5 rear door handle faulty


there will be a screw behind the rubber this holds the handle in., if the door has not been used much, greaseing the mechanism may solve this
