Question about Cars & Trucks
After having my transmission serviced my check engine light came on with code P1705, could the wrong transmission fluid cause ths problem?
I doubt the fluid would cause the code. Depending on the year make and model, the code could be for a problem with the neutral safety switch, the throttle position sensor, or a clutch output sensor.
Four digit codes are brand and model specific.

That is the code for a problem with the throtle position sensor . this may not be the problem with the car, but something is effecting the way the TPS is performing. (you could get a high low idle, rough idle)
