Question about 1992 Mercedes-Benz Mercedes Benz 300 Class
Hello I'm an M.B. tech. this is a common problem for that era. I t sounds like your blower motor is worn ou and occasionally it will rotate slightly. 1st I would check the fuses. During this era those fuses were not in the box. although the lid may say blower fuse outside fuse box. Often times they are a strip fuse inline with the blower harness. Generally they are located by the brake master cyl. They supply voltage to the blower motor resister pack. Some vehicles had 3 strip fuses 1 for each speed. The resister pack is called a blower mot regulator. It should be accessible from you passenger side underdash panel. assuming your fuses are good. Most likley it is the blower motor regulater
