Question about 1990 Ford Mustang
Sounds like a bad motor to me and the other one is on it's way out. It does happen over time.
You can find them fairly cheap at a junkyard.
If you take off your door panel you can see them inside the door frame on each door. They are fairly easy to replace yourself. Just make sure that the window is all the way up before you take it off track to put in the new motor so you wont need to re-adjust it after you get the motor in.
