How to change gearbox in ef falcon - Cars & Trucks

its a bad bulb

SOURCE: firing order for a 1996 EF ford falcon

EF & EL are 1,5,3,6,2,4
EF has a coil pack under the inlet manifold the EL has a distributor
EF uses a waste spark system so 2 plugs are fired at the same time eg 1 & 6 - 2 & 5 - 3 & 4

SOURCE: i have just changed motors over in car it starts but will not go into any gear...its an automatic ef for falcon xr8

I know this is going to sound like a dumb question, but are you sure the transmission is bolted to the engine crankshaft ? Can you tell if the crank is turning the torque converter ? And did you reconnect all of the wiring for the engine and trans ?
Dennis and I are in the US and you are in Australia ( I presume) so we may not have access to info for your specific car.
There may be someone on the website that does have that info.
