Hi myrarr. you did not mention which oil you want to change but if you want to change the engine oil, you have to take off the small black plastic cover from front underneath cover then used spanner or socket # 17 mm

Where is the transmission filler cap on a 2007 550i E60 BMW?

BMW transmission oil shouldn't be changed according the label on the side of the trans housing. The is also no trans oil dip stick and tube under the hood like on older cars. Workshops pump new oil in with a trans oil exchange machine.

How do I change oil and filter on bmw 5 series 1992

warm engine up then raise/jack up front of vehicle there is a 17mm nut/oil plug on the bottom of the aluminum oil pan that you will need to remove and drain into oil pan that can hold at least 7qt of oil. then from the top there is a round aluminum cover with a 13mm bolt near the front of the engine that will need to removed and the oil filter is inside that will need to be replaced dont forget to replace the seals on the cap and screw that come with the oil filter. then after oil is finished draining re-install drain plug with new seal lower car back on grond and then install new oil filter and seals then add oil 6qt. to start then start engine and run for 30 sec. wait 10sec. then check oil level and add as needed

Need tips and location of oil filter and drain plug.

well the drain plug is ALWAYS gonna be on the bottom of the oil pan bolted to the bottom of the engine, the filter is either gonna be on the oil pump near the oil pan or it will be screwed into the side of the engine block, either way you should be able to see it just from a quick look from underneath the car.

I need to change the oil on my 94 BMW 740IL.

Depends how competent you are here and what sort of tools you have. You will also need to replace oil filter if you wish to replace oil within the engine. The oil has to be drained from underneath the engine and allow it to sit for few hours while draining as this will ensure all the deposits at the bottom comes off.

Changing the oil on a 1997 bmw 328i

locate the oil pan under the engine and then unscrew the bolt on the pan let drain into an oil drain pan then screw bolt back on tight but not overtight then put in the required amount of oil ( should be in owners manual) and start up ( you can obtain a repair manual book for this car at the library for free, but if you intend to do alot of your work on this car yourself buy one at an auto or book shop)

I need to change my oil and filter on a BMW 745I 2002, does anyone know how to do it.

The oil filter is located underneath the vehicle next to the drain plugand accessed through a removable trim cover. If I remember correctly the drain plug is a 7mm allen. The oil filter has a drain plug in it to predrain before removing the filter cap. I do not recommend removing the plug because it strips out sometimes. Instead you need to use a socket and loosen the cap slowly. Your engine will take 8qts bmw syn 5w30 oil. I like the factory oil because it is proven extended life oil. When reinstalling the drain plug make sure to replace the crush washer. Also, make sure to replace the oring on the oil filter cap and lube before reinstalling.

Oil change

To drain the oil - all you have to do is remove the small (about 4" x 5") plastic rectangular cover which is situated towards the rear of the "plastic tray". It is secured by one hex head screw (about 8mm I think). This reveals the sump plug (hex head 17mm) on the side of the sump. Make sure you have a good big drip tray underneath as, due to the sump plug facing sideways, when the oil first runs out it shoots way over towards the side of the car. I found this to my cost the first time as I had positioned a container underneath the sump drain hole and the oil shot horizontally over the top of it and poured all over my driveway. Re the second half of your question, sorry - I dont know anything about the oil level sensor.
