Question about 1998 Ford Taurus
It sounds like your anti theft may have gone out. your ignition reads the resistance of your key. if it matches the computer the car will turn on, if it doesnt the car will do what it is doing to you right now because it thinks you are using the wrong key. you may need to take it to someone with a scan tool and see if the computer can be reset.
