Engine management warning in peugeot RCZ

The engine management warning light is showing and the fan seems to be working extra hard. I've had it checked and they can't find a fault but the problem persists and the fan sounds as though it's working extra hard all the time.

SOURCE: how can i reset the engine management light on

The following is from bot seems to be valid for all models:
1. Switch the Ignition Off
2. Press and hold the tripmeter (mileage reset) button on the dash
3. Now switch the ignition to the ON position
4. Keep the button pressed for 10 seconds
5. The display will read '0' and the service symbol will extinguish.

Also, can disconnect the battery for a few minutes. This should clear the code. Unless you have fixed the problem that set the code it will come on again.

I hope help you with this (remember rated this help) Good luck.

SOURCE: peugeot 206 1.4lx misfiring engine light flashing

Probably a defect lambdasonde or inlet pressure sensor (MAP sensor) it will show many different errors on the test readout ex: inlet manifold pressure, knock sensor, lambda value wrong, idle speed out of range, etc.
read out the faults, after delete the readout, then drive one day, read faults out again , compare the results, and change the components from test

SOURCE: Peugeot 106 1.0 litre, temperature warning light

hi, if the collant level is ok and the car isnt over heating then check the heater works in the car and make sure it gives of heat when hot is selected if it dont then the chances are the thermostat has gone and needs replacing.

If on the other hand you have heat then the chances are its just a faulty temp sensot these are cheap to buy and easy to replace.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

NEVER remove the oil filler cap when the engine is running. It will upset the engine pressures and possibly cover you and the engine in oil splatters.
Petrol engines have a negative pressure by design.

fully charge battery and make sure everything switched off i.e rear window demist etc and take it for a run to get it up to tempature then park up rev engine at fast idle approx 2750 rpm for 180 seconds then take foot off throttle and allow to idle for 30 seconds this will clear your catalyst and get it up to the 600 degrees needed for it to operate properly this should remove the engine warning light

If a warning light comes on, or fails to extinguish after you've started the engine, stop as soon as possible in a safe place. You can call the repair shop for help, and then you can buy auto diagnostic tool for your car.

Ok, In the past week, a lot seemed to be going wrong with my car all at once!!!! Okay, first of all, when I start my car, the RPM's are unusually high. Secondly, it seems to have troube accelerating....

1st you need to pressure test the cooling system.if your adding coolant that often it should'nt
be to hard to find where its going. if its not showing up on the ground then start looking internally.
not sure what the codes were but by your description(two OC Censor warnings)it probably an
O2 sensor code. this would be another clue that coolant is contaminating the sensors. the sensors
are screwed into the exhaust system so the coolant would have to be getting into the exhaust.
i would pressure test the system.pull all the spark plugs & see what they look like ie. are they
burning coolant??i would think alot if not all your problems are related.
what mercury are you driving?? year.make, engine size & miles
