The auto lock doors will constantly lock whether running or not running, the only thing I could thing to try was to replace the fuse on the MEGAFUSE near the battery, but it didn't work, have to take the fuse out when parking the car...or unhook the battery, because I'm worried it will lock and lock until the battery dies....This is one of several electrical giltches, the other being the power windows going in and out on the front only.

Those balljoints are press fit,and there are special tools used, along with a hydraulic/mechanical press. There is a pretty thick piece of steel tube that is just exactly, slightly larger than the ball joint diameter used. The control arm is removed from the car,the steel tube is slipped around the balljoint, the assembly is taken to the hydraulic press, and press out the the old,and press in the new.If not feasible,i think the whole control arm with the balljoint is available through Ford.

I would follow their recommendation as I had the same problem with my car. They unhooked the power to that door and it was fine. The problem was a short in the wiring in the door that was causing the problem. So maybe get them to check the wiring in the door as well.
