SOURCE: Describe your 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser timing

Replace the belt at 100k with a new water pump pulley and tensioner. It would not be a bad idea while u r in there to replace the center motor mount. When the mount fails it is a pricey fix not a bad Idea to replace it since you have to remove it to do the belt.

My power steering in my 01 pt cruiser started squilling. I replaced the pump and pressure line. The fluid now dripps from the high pressure line and comes out the cap. Any clues?

probably have a clog somewhere in the sytem maybe in the rack. the fluid has to circulate. if the rack is messed up or something is binding it can create alot of pressure and cause the fluid to back up. there is also a recall on the high pressure hose maybe you should look into that if you already havent. they came out with an updated hose that is better.

Where is the power steering sensor located on a pt cruiser

i have changed the pressure sensor switch on my 2001 PT Cruiser (B). to find it you will have to put the car on ramps and go under the car until your under the cross member (right behind the front wheel) it will be just behind the cross member closer to the driver side wheel. remember once you remove the sensor gravity will work against you and power steering fluid will pour out of the sensor hole. and when under a car there is really no place to go and if your not careful you will have to resign yourself to being covered in fluid. good luck!
