Caravans had a real issue with rear suspension noises, and one of the suggestions from Dodge was the addition of a spacer washer at the bottom shock mount to space it a little farther away from the axle housing. I have seen many new shocks that "knocked" right out of the box new. It is possible one of the new ones is defective

I do not understand, I added a spacer washer at the bottom of the shock, but it is higher than it knocks. As if the screw was not tight at the top of the damper

If the top mount is properly secured, I would replace the shock as defective and recheck. There isn't a whole lot of things that can make the noise you decribe other than the shock or a loose sway bar link

Both would be defective because that makes a knocking on each side. I deprived shock absorbers and he(it) not of more knockings it. The knockings are at the top of the shock absorber. I removed the old shock absorbers because there was a knocking maintaining with nine the knocking is three times as strong because shock absorbers are new. What is that that could be nets in the frame which has a relaxation(slackening)?

The upper shock mounts are the only common denominator in this problem, they are a welded plate to the unibody and may need to be rewelded. Without inspecting it personally, I cannot tell with 100% certainty. I would suggest an inspection at a shop of your choice so a full visual inspection on a lift is possible. Most shops will inspect this at no charge.

I verified one side and seems good, not rusty and not rewelded.

SOURCE: knocking noise front suspension

It very well could be a ball joint, but I would check your strut tower. When they come loose, they hit the fender where the connection is. Pop the hood, and look where the tower comes up, push down on the fender and see if it moves. That may be your problem. Hope that helps

SOURCE: knocking from suspension

I had the same problem and it came out that there was what they call a Quick Reply solution to the problem. The bolts on the direction tables were loose. They had previously thighten them but it came back. Now they've changed them today. Hope they fixed it for good!

SOURCE: knocking noise from rear of car

There are two common known problems with the rear suspension. One problem is the rear spring colliding with the rear lower arm during rebound. This is caused by a lack of support in the rear lower arm and the upper spring seat. The solution is to fit a spring isolator sleeve to prevent the metal to metal knocking. Another common problem is knocking of the top coils of the springs. A revised rear lower arm spring seat has been fitted since 02/2002.

SOURCE: knock on front left suspension v70 52 plate

I had a similar noise, I took apart the strut and the bushing on top of the strut was falling apart. Replaced it with a new one for under 100.00. No more noise.

07 grand caravan sounds like a rod knocking, but look at them & no sign of worn out bearing.

Without actually hearing the noise, it is hard to help. You can try starting the engine and disconnecting one plug wire at a time to see if the noise diminishes when the plug wire is disconnected and this will help isolate the cylinder causing the noise and then diagnose from there.

Knocking noise coming from the back of the van when driving

what seals ? do you mean wheel bearing seals ? if so this is a problem that will eventually result in bearing failure and could make wheels come off if let go to failure point ,(takes a long time)

the way you wrote this reminded me of a fellow that just got a brand new van and brought it to me in a fluster one day saying it makes horrible banging noises only when he drives it <not sitting still, I pulled it into service bay and put up on rack , when I took hubcaps off to access the wheels I nearly laughed to death !!! seems his Not so funny neighbor had added a handful of gravel to the inside of his hubcaps for a bit of fun with him !!!

2000 dodge intrepid clicking noise when apply brakes

It is probable that one or more sets of brake pads are worn down. The clicking noise is the wear indicators letting you know.

The knocking sound is possibly worn rear suspension bushes at some point, but I don't know your model well enough to say where.

2007 dodge grandcaravan knocking noise

If your engine has a rod knock the engine has to be rebuilt or replaced rebuilt is about $2000 to $3000 dollars and a new motor even more.It is unusal for a rod to be out around 60,000 miles unless it was ran real hard or run out of oil or way low on oil.
