There should be a threaded port on the fuel line goining to the throttle body. it will look like a valve stem. any mechanic that is worth something will put a pressured gage on it to test. Will indicate if fuel pump is holding pressure. alsomay be a check valve.

SOURCE: Where is the fuel filter located on my 2004 Chevy

On 05+ Trail Blazer, the fuel filter is integral with the fuel pump inside of the fuel tank. It is a non-serviceable part. On 02-04s, the filter is on the drivers side frame rail at about the B-pillar. If your trail Blazer is a late 04 which means that it was build close to the 05 Trail Blazer, you may have a non serviceable fuel filter. Good luck and check under your Trail Blazer or look at your manufactured date sticker on the door which would help you indicate if your 04 is a early Trail Blazer and you'll have the fuel filter on the inside frame rail under the driver's door.

SOURCE: M y radio stopped working on my 2004 trail blazer

The 2004 Trailblazer has two fuse panels, one in the under hood and one under the middle row seats. The radio fuse is marked RADIO fuse # 41 and is a 15 amp fuse located in the rear fuse panel. To access the rear fuse panel flip the seat behind the driver to the upright position, under it you can see the fuse panel and a diagram should be on the under side of the cover.

Good luck and hope this helps.

Fuel could be an issue, although it is not that common on these. You should check for a restricted fuel filter first before changing pump.

SOURCE: Low Beam Ligths on 2004 Chevrolet Trail Blazer not Working

Check fuses & bulbs first, The headlight bulbs may be twin filiment type in which case the lower filliment may be blown & the upper filliment or highbeam will still work in this case replace your bulbs. But these models are renowned for having negative earthing problems. Follow the negative (-) or black lead from the battery to the point it is bolted to the vehicle. make sure there is good metal on metal contact with the negative lead & the vehicle. Then check the negative that comes out of the lowbeam headlight socket insure clean metal on metal contact. If you still cant find a fault, contact a chevy technician.

2002 trail blazer will not start, fuel pressure

you might want to check to see if you got a timming chain or belt in that car.
but check that area first .
could be a broken timming belt.
you need to remove the dust cover in that area .
check for no belt present on the timming gears.
good luck,Gary

2001 trail blazer high idle after installed fuel pump what can be the cause

You will need to check your fuel pressure to see whether the fuel regulator is faulty or not.Your fuel pressure should be no more than 66 psi with key on and engine off.If its within specs you will need to replace the idle air control valve its more than likely your problem.Make sure to reset the computer after replacing the IAC valve or your problem will still exist.

Where would the fuel filter be on a 2000 chevy trail blazer please ! ! ! :)

The fuel filter is on the drivers side frame rail and is a high pressure system, so you should attempt to depressurize it. Take the fuel cap off. Pull fuse for the fuel pump. Start engine, let engine die. There will still be a little pressure in the line and certainly fuel in the filter and line. I had to remove the skid plate to get to the filter, there was a hand hole, but not for my hand to work in effectively. The clips are real easy to remove with some pliers. Use a towel or rag to remove the fuel lines and protect your self from the fuel. If your new filter doesnt have the little plastic doo-hickies (technical term) on the nozzles you will need to get them off of the old on, just pull them off gently, dont break them. Put the fuel lines back on noting the flow arrow on the filter. Replace holding strap and skid plates as applicable. Replace fuel cap and fuse. Start engine, let idle a minute or so. Drive around the block a time or two and enjoy. Repeat procedure every 30,000 miles (I think that is the manual periodicity).
