SOURCE: 95 Pathfinder Fuel Pump

In the rear cargo area you pull the back plastic strip that runs around where your hatch latches and pull the carpet FROM the rear right to the front left of the cargo area until you see the round/square panel with 4 10mm bolts.  That is the cover that you remove to get to your pump without having to pull your gas tank.  be sure to label your fuel lines.

I have a 2000 Nissan pathfinder just put new distributor in and still no spark or fuel. Fuel pump does not come on when I turn on the key

Failure of the fuel pump could be caused by open 15A FUSE 17 in the fuse box and/or failure of the fuel pump relay and/or failure of the pump itself.

The ignition failure could be caused by an open fuse in the ignition-related circuits.

Change your plugs and run a couple of bottles of injector cleaner through it. Sounds like you have some carbon buildup. Also check the catalytic converter for excessive back pressure. i hope this helps.

Fuel pump on your pathfinder is located in your gas tank. Your going to have to drop the gas tank to replace your fuel pump.

Starting problems

IF its not a fuel issue as in you checked your fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel injectors and pressure regulator, try having your timing belt looked at. Maybe its time to replace it. Check your crank and camshaft sensors as well.

Check For fuel on the fuel rail with the engine stop. If there is fuel, then check for spark at one of the plugs or Kal pac area.

If all is well you have crank sensor problem.
Good luck
