Question about 2003 Volkswagen Golf
I have a Golf 4 GtiT, the car started fine this morning but on my way to work my ABS light showed on the dash and for a few seconds my airbag light showed and went off. When i got to work i switched the car off and tried to start it again and it would not start.Like a dead battery. I thought off the alt but no light came on from the display.
The battery won't just quit so suddenly, you'll know when it's almost dead, so it could be the alternator. If you can get the car started, check the voltage on the battery while the car is running, if it's below 12.8 - 13 volts, then the alternator isn't charging and it may need replacement, or repair. Good luck!
