It's uncommon for one injector to fail in only 70,000 miles and, therefor, improbable that all six would fail. Are you having a starting or performance problem, or a check engine light issue?

check the immobilizer as it may be preventing the ECM to allow fuel past the injectors
run the fault codes and it could be the ECM needs resetting using a scan tool

Engine quits running like it runs out of gas?

Many small things can cause this...dirty fuel, water in tank, fuel pressure regulator going bad, air filter clogged, throttle body dirty, clogged catalytic converter. First try fuel injector gas tank and line cleaner...least costly...use 2 bottles of STP concentrated injector cleaner...also add a bottle of liquid absorb any excess water or sludge in tank...worst cause could be low fuel pressure caused by bad fuel pump...Hope this helps.

My 2003 Ford Escape had a bad crank shaft sensor which, would cause it to stall out, mainly when the engine was hot. It often would not start after I turned off after a long drive. Once the engine was cool it would re-start. The replacement sensor was a bit differennt then the original. The original appeared to be mostly plastic, while the new one was metal. Ford must have know they had a problem part.

It will not help your Duramax injectors. They are not hydraulic. It will help your turbo and clean the rings in your engine. Hot Shot's Secret is a detergent and dispersant designed to clean the inside of the engine, especially the inside of oil fired injectors.

try a fuel additive (wynns) first to see if is just dirty injectors (double the amount) if this works, no mechanic needed........

I am losing gas mileage but the car runs great

Could be time for a tune up.
1) new spark plugs with the gap set perfect. Every 70000 miles.
2) new spark plug wires.Every 100000 miles.
3) new fuel filter every 35000 miles.
4) new air filter every 35000 miles.
5) new oil and filter changed at least every 4000 miles.
6) make sure tire air pressure is correct.
And beleave it or not, a washed clean car gets 2-3 better mpg highway.
I hope this check list helps you and your car.

I took my 2004 Toyota Sequioa in for oil change and check up with a dealer for 70000 miles. 2 days later my engine light and VSC lights came on. This happened once before when I had 60000miles service....

Take to aftermarket autoparts, ie Checker, Shucks, etc. They will plug into their computer and give you codes needed to fix. Usually for no cost. Good Luck

#2 fuel injector not working

There is a little tester calles a NOID, it plugs into the harness connector to the fuel injector and flashes if there is a signal, they only cost a few dollars.

These particular Vortec engines need more fuel pressure to start than run. So being able start it by pouring fuel and being able to drive suggests a pump starting to go bad (loosing pressure), a cloogged filter (causing a restriction), or a fuel pressure regulator going out (letting off too much pressure).
