It simply means that your ABS computer has detected a problem and your anti-lock brakes are disabled. Your brakes will still work normally, but the anti-lock system is offline. You need to have the car hooked up to a scan tool that will talk to the ABS computer. This will tell you what the problem is. The scan tool that is able to talk to the ABS computer is quite a bit more expensive than one that will read engine fault codes. I would suggest taking the car to a mechanic and paying to have the codes retrieved, then you can decide if you want to tackle the repairs yourself or let a shop fix it.

Any quick fix to get the abs and TC light to go off on a H2 Hummer

Unfortunately the cluster that displays the lights is not serviceable. Meaning you can't pop the cluster and remove the bulbs. Removing fuses or relays for your TC and ABS system will disable them, but the lights will stay lit.

Open or short motor relay on 95 s10 pickup

You may have popped your ABS fuse, have a bad ABS relay, or have an electrical short somewhere either in the ABS module itself of the wiring harness. Cars and trucks were made for decades without ABS. A lot of times its not worth the cost to fix. Check the relay and fuse and if they're not your problem I'd just leave it the way it is. You have no danger of your brakes failing or malfunctioning because of a non-functioning ABS system. It only means you don't have antilock brakes.

Abs light on

ur brakes will work fine when abs system goes bad what changes is that the brakes will lock up when pressed hard and can cause skidding when abs lght pops on usually means a sensor problem look behind wheel and check connections and wire for damage or partial disconnect sometimes debris can cause damage to the wiring if looks good than have truck scanned and use the trouble code to pinpoint the trouble location most auto stores will offer to scan vehicles for free check ur local area

ABS light pops on a few minutes after you start to drive was just wondering what that means and how can that be corrected.

Looks like you have a bad abs wheel sensor on your car. The system can only pick up the faulty sensor after you start to drive. It also resets every time you start the car, so it happens everytime you start to drive. I would bet it's the drivers side rear wheel sensor. Have the abs codes read from your car and change the sensor that's bad.

My ABS light is coming on what does that mean?

1. check and make sure that your tires are inflated to the correct pressure

2. turn the ignition switch to the ON position. If the low tire pressure warning light comes on, push and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch (think the switch is in the glovebox, but not sure) until the warning light turns off and then release the switch.

3. now press and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch until the low tire pressure warning light blinks three times.

4. initialization is *not* completed until driving at the vehicle speed of 19 mph or over for more than one hour. the tire pressure monitoring starts when initialization is completed.

As for the ABS light, that means your antilock brake system has detected an issue such as a block sensor, or a faulty relay, etc.. when this light is on, it means that your abs may not engage when it should, or may engage when it shouldn't.
