Check the fusible links located on the positive starter post and any that may run from the positive cable at the battery.

SOURCE: how to replace a coolant level sensor, 2000 buick century

The coolant level sensor is located on the radiator. If you are looking at the engine from the front of the car it will be on the left side. There will some kind of clip holding it in the radiator. Removed the clip and pull the sensor out. You will lose coolant so try to swap it out quick or drain some of the coolant out. Once new sensor is installed, install clip to keep the sensor in place and reconnect the wires to the sensor. Crank the engine and make sure the coolant level is full. This should correct your problem.

SOURCE: Hi, I have a 96 buick century,if i dont use it battery goes dead

The radio in my 1996 Buick century had a clock light that did not go off when the car was shut off, so the battery would go dead after 2 days. Disconnected the radio and all was well. Getting ready for a new radio now.

Have an auto parts store check for the code. It is possible that you have a bad O2 sensor or your catalytic converter is clogged.

SOURCE: 1998 buick century only high beams and turn

The Buick Century is equipped with a multi-switch. This switch is an all in one switch that controls your cruise control, windshield wipers and turn signals in one switch. This switch also controls dimming and brightening of your headlights. The dimmer switch is simple to replace, and all you need is a phillips head screwdriver to complete the task.

  1. Removing the Steering Column Shroud
    • Removing the dimmer switch starts at the steering column. To plan this task out, access the steering column by removing the screws holding the steering column shroud in place. This will expose the turn signal lever. Remove the lever by twisting it forward, and pulling it out of the switch.
    Removing the Dimmer Switch
    • The switch is held on by two screws and a wiring harness. The wiring harness can be removed by prying up on the locking tabs and pulling the connector out of the socket. The two screws can be removed with a phillips head screwdriver. The switch will slide out. To install a dimmer switch, be sure to repeat these steps in reverse order.

1995 Buick Century 3.1, 175,000 miles car will not start, the starter relay clicks, the fuel injectors engage, is getting 12 volts to solenoid. Brand new battery, new positive cable lead battery to...

You need to explain to me what you mean by "fuel injectors engage". Fuel injectors have nothing to do with the starter engaging with the engine and turning it over. You need to take the car to a place that can load test the battery for you. An autoparts store usually can do that for you. Or, if car can not be moved, take the battery out of the car to have it tested. Start there, then we can move on to other possibilities.

I need a 30A 14.5V fuse for my Buick Regal it powers the front seat. I can only find 12V 30A fuses. Any suggestions?

Your car is a 12 volt system with a 12 volt battery. You do not need it to be 14.5 volts. It is the amps that blow a fuse not the voltage.
