    Strange took cover off and there is two, only bought one and new gears

    Are there 2 side by side or 2 completely separate ones running 2 different things? It might be what is known as double roller which is basically 2 chains made as one, these are much stronger than a single one, but I can't think of ever seeing anything other than crank and cam in a 87 302.

Hi there, the following information are for a 2004 Grand Am 2.2L, I hope it helps:

Timing Chain, Sprockets, and/or Tensioner Replacement
Tighten the chain guide bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
Tighten the chain tensioner bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
Tighten the oil nozzle bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
Timing chain tensioner guide bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
Timing chain bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
Chain guide plug to 90 N·m (66 lb ft).
Timing chain upper guide bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
Timing chain tensioner to 75 N·m (55 lb ft).
Camshaft bolts to 85 N·m (63 lb ft) plus 30 degrees.
Intake Manifold Replacement
Manifold Nuts and Bolts: 10 N·m (89 lb in).

pretty staraight forward but i would suggest that you replace chain and the chain tenstioners while your in there sorry hard to type on this phone keypad

The airbag is there, what's most likely wrong is the key switch may be going bad. Take your Ranger to a reputable mechanic and ask them to check it...unless you have an OBD II or a multimeter.

Lost power to entire cab

try looking at the fusible link that is bolted to the starter solenoid.pull on the wires that bolt to it and if one strechy fealing then you need to rep,lace it.

Cab mount brackets are rusted looking to replace them

grind out the mounts on the body until you hit actual metal and weld some steel on it and make new mounts
