You did not mention if you had lost any coolant when the light went on. If you have been adding coolant, misfire could be from blown head gasket. I'd have it checked for hydrocarbons in the radiator and go from there.

You may possibly have a water pump leak. This would explain the possible loss of coolant. Would strongly recommend taking to a repair facility to verify your coolant loss problem. As far as the misfire in cylinder one, this may have just been caused by the engine dying out, may have thrown a msfire code. Would also have this looked into as well if the engine light is still on. Hope this helps.

99 deville, cold air on pass. side warm on drivers side

There should be a nozzle on the left passenger side that has blue for cold and red for hot so if there is a light on the nozzle all you have to do is turn it to cold if you want it cold. Caddy's have dual heat so you can change what you feel coming out push the nozzle in and the light should go off. Therefore making the car on the same hot/cold.

Why is white smoke coming out the back of 99 deville engine

White smoke is an indication of the engine burning coolant. Possible blown head gasket or cracked head. Check your coolant level, and check your oil for any coolant in it.
I hope this helps.
