Question about 2004 Mini Cooper
Light stays on after new brake pads/ rotors installed
I had same light staying on after brake pads/ dics were replaced. You need the brake sensor replacing. I think it cost me around £125 from a bmw/ mini garage!

Did they replace the brake pad wear sensor? If so, try leaving the key in the on postion for 30-45 seconds (dont start the car) This is how we reset the lights on BMW's and the Mini's use a similar system for service lights
