First the door panel must be removed, once inside at the bottom of the door glass you will see it is attached to the regulator bar with to bolts, remove them separating the door glass from the regulator. (most of the time you must move the door glass up and down for the bolts to line up with an access hole so they can easily be removed...I assume your motor is shot and the bolts may be difficult to remove). the regulator has to be removed as the motor is attached to it. I'm not familiar with this one, but there is usually 3 or 4 bolts around the motor area and 2 bolts on the idler arm track, once removed the regulator should be free to wiggle out. remove the motor from the regulator.

If your going to start learning to fix some stuff on your own it would be wise to purchase a repair guide from chilton. You can get one at your local parts store.

I have a 1999 Subaru Forester. I recently had the ac/heater blower motor replaced. It was only blowing on high so I replaced the resistor. Now it is blowing the fuses. Any suggestions??? Thanks

check that the wires for the motor are on correctly and that the loom has not jammed and cut when replacing the motor. There is a dead short in the wires after re-assembly of the system

Whatswill a 2001 legacy subaru tranaxel fit a 1999 subaru forester atf

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking...however, if you want to put axles from a 2001 Legacy on to a 1999 forester, they'd both need to have the same motor (probably a 2.5L) and the same trans-axle/transmission. The forester MIGHT have a 2.2L motor which would cause me to think NOT. Of course if one car has an automatic and the other a manual transmission, then I would not recommend using one on the other. Hard to tell without being able to see them both. Sorry I couldn't be more definitive in my answer.

Procedure for replacing rear wheel bearings 2000 Forester

i'm assuming you don't have a hubshark, this is a tool that will alllow you to remove the bearing while the knuckle is attached to the car,you may be able to rent this tool at a auto prts store .if not you need to remove the entie knuckle, first remove the trailing arm bolt, then the lateral link bolt{long and stubborn bolt},disassemble the brake shoes and parking brake cable, abs sensor if equipped the knuckle to strut bolt{no marking necessary they are not eccentric} then you need a to use or borrow a press to remove hub and bearings good luck

1999 forester rear window washer does not spray water

The nozzle could be plugged, pull the hose off if you can get to it and see if you get anything. If you do, you can try and blow the clog back with the hose still off. good luck, Chuck
