Question about 1985 Chevrolet S-10

Need location of ignition coil for a 1985 chevrolet S10 truck 2.5

Where is this coil located on the engine? This is a 1985 S-10 pick-up with a 4 cylinder 2.5 litre engine. Fuel Injected. 4 speed manual transmission.

Could this truck possibly have electronic ignition?

Reason for inquiry is I want to install a new Tachometer and have it all wired up except the GREEN wire that goes to the coil ? or does it go to the fuse box and if so where in the box?

Hello, the green wire connects to the left wire on the distributor cap (Its probably not going to have a wire in this position), so you will need to put a connector on your green wire. The right wire is power to coil, and is going to be eiter red or purple. Please rate this answer thank you.

1993 eagle talon es with 2.0 dohc engine and 5 speed manual transmission there are only 2 cylinders working 1 and 4 are good but 2 and 3 dont work wht can i do

So i think you have 2 ignition coil packs on your car, each one connects to 2 cylinders.
But i dont know what cylinders each one controls, but the coil connected to cylinders
2 and 3 may have gone bad. Thats where i would start. If you check and find out that
one coil pack connects to cylinders 2 and 3, remove the coil packs and switch their positions.

Reconnect the wires and see if then cylinders 2 and 3 work, and 1 and 4 dont. That would tell
you whether that coil pack is bad. Thats seems most likely to me.

93' cavalier, very rough running. Missing badly at all speeds and loads, including at idle in park. changed plugs and no change in symptons. Is this an injected motor (4 cyl)?

Yes it is fuel injected. If it runs but has no power there is a good chance that an ignition coil went bad and there would be no spark to two cylinders. Cylinders 1 and 4 are partners on the same coil and 2 and 3 are partners. Usually these cars if an injector goes bad they have an external leak.
You can try to listen to them by holding a screw driver to each on while its running but I don't think
that will be your problem anyway.Another giveaway for the coil could be a gas smell like it is partially flooded. When you changed the plugs were any of them wet with fuel ? There is also a chance that if the engine works ok at highway speeds that the egr valve is stuck open. This causes
rough running at idle and bad hesitation until highway speed is achieved. Hope this helps or let me know and we'll figure it out.

I am looking for the location of the plugs on a 2000 mitsubhi mirage with a 1.8 litre engine

Are you referring to the SPARK plugs? The Mirage's 1.8 engine does not use standard spark plugs, because it is fuel injected. It uses 4 fuel injectors that has gas hookups & electrical hookups. They are located on the head in the back.

Engine turns off at about 70mph, resumes at 65mph. Consistently.

THE FUEL PRESSURE TEST PORT IS ON THE METAL FUEL SUPPLY RAIL FOR THE FUEL INJECTORS, IT LOOKS LIKE A TIRE VALVE BUT METAL, U NEED A TEST GUAGE, THEY ARE CHEAP FROM KRAGEN OR AURTZONE, THIS SURE SOUNDS LIKE A PRESSURE ISSUE, U WILL HAVE TO WATCH THE PRESSURE WHEN THE PROBLEM OCCURS AT 70MPH
