Engine stalls especially in cold weather or when the engine is cold. This is mostly when I'm just starting the engine. When run for a while, the engine performs just fine. Recently, the engine stalls...

Hi,
This sounds like you have a faulty cold start sensor which helps the engine with more fuel when it is cold...

Engine stalls. 4 times engine stalls, let sit for

sounds to me that there could be an engine temperature switch that is malfunctioning or not working at all. the temperature switch tells the engine that its cold and that the fuel injection system should operate in cold mode. the switch then tells the computer to start the engine in cold mode. if it malfunctions, the engine controlling unit confuses itself and then cuts off. this is an early sign of that unit failing until the car won't start at all. it's just wear and tear and time that does these things. a good mechanic should help you out quick and should be a couple of ours work. good luck
