AC display panel lights

2001 Chrysler 300M led ac/heat panel display won't light up. Sometimes, a bang to the panel will make it work temporarily. Any clues or suggestions? Thanks, Tom

I had the same problem. I tried to fix it but changing bulb did not work. Found one on the internet for about $45.00.

You will need to replace the whole in-dash A/C control unit. Changing the small bulb won't rectify your problem, as the display is LCD.

I miss-spoke, the panel is LED(light emitting diode) not LCD(liquid crystal display)

Inside the control there is a tiny peanut shaped bulb in a black/gray socket, u must pull the display out and replace this bulb.

My light went out on my Dash Board for my A.C so i cant see what temperature im putting it on

To my knowledge the lights inside the ac control panel are not replacable still. It comes down to willingness to pay to replace the whole panel or deal with the light being out. I had that issue on my 02 dodge ram and i had to replace the whole unit because the lights inside it are led

2001 chrysler 300m climate control work ok but no light display

The solder joints for the lighting goes bad. You can smack the display for a while and the lights will come back on but it is only a temporary fix. I believe they can be soldered, or you can just buy a repaired one on ebay. They're around $80 with exchange

I own a 2001 Chrysler 300M and the drivers side window will only work sometimes? What would make this happen?

It could be the groves on the regulator that have been worn down so it is not catching correctly. If you remove the door panel you should be able to shine a light into the door to see it the grooves have any tread left.

300M WARMS UP TO NORMAL TEMP HEAT BLOWS HOT THEN AFTER ABOUT 10 MIN. ON EXPRESSWAY HEATER BLOWS COOL.I TURN TEMP UP TO 80 AND GET HEAT AGAIN.

this can be 2 problems the thermostat
or the module pcm that controls the digital controls on the dash panel
this is for the ac and the cluster if you change it you need to ask them to write your milles in it
i got one for a town and country and fix the ac problem anf it also give me 80k aditional miles

do the dance key test
you open and close the ignition key 3 times and the cluster will display error codes from the computer
with the codes we can solve this problem

2001 Chrysler 300M repeatedly stalling; mechanics can't replicate

well, the power steering will freeze when the motor is not running. the mechanic may not find what seems to be the problem specially when no warning lights are coming. you can try replacing the fuel cervo and this will surely help. not everyone knows about this.

AC & Temp LED display out

The fuse for the radio/CD/DVD is seperate from the AC/Heat. Open fuse box under hood on right. follow fuse schematic to ac fuse position (note there are two so if not one, then it is the other) use the fuse puller that is in the fuse box, then replace the fuse. Good luck.
