Question about 2004 Ford F150
At first it would make a clunking soud when it would kick in now it seems not to be kicking in at all
Sounds like the AC compressor magnetic clutch drive has an excessive air gap on the driven plate. It sould be no more than 0.20"(20 thousands of an inch) use a feeler guage and measure at 4 different spots to get the average air gap, Ford sells shim kits.
