The blend door is stuck or not receiving the control knob information to change the temperature.
Your car uses an electronic blend door actuator. you will need to
locate this devise under the dash. You may have to remove the dash to
get to it. You will want to make sure that there is power coming in to
the new switch and going out to the Blend Door Actuator. If you do not
have power to the switch then find out why and fix the broken wire, if
you have power to the motor but it won't move then replace the Blend
Door Actuator (BDA).
Make sure the black wire to the BDA is grounded. The do the following:
Test the orange wire going to the BDA and the Yellow wire from the BDA
to the switch for postive power. This will tell you if the BDA is
getting power in from the car and out to the switch. Then make sure you
get a power reading from the Red with White strip and the Red with Lite
Green strip, this will tell you that the switch is sending the power
back to the BDA to control the temp. If power is coming in to the BDA
and not going out to the switch then the BDA is bad. If power is going
to and from the switch back to the BDA then that also says the BDA is
bad. If the ground is broken that will cause the BDA not to respond.
SOURCE: where is the low tire reset button located on 2005 ford freestar?
It is on the same button as the Trip Odometer. Cycle through until you see Tire Reset and hold the button down.
SOURCE: CD stuck in player of 2005 ford freestar
Take another cd and push the stuck one all the way back then try and eject it. If it doesn't come out right away do the process again this time when you hit eject take another cd and push down or up on it. Wiggle it around so it catches the rollers in there. Using CDs with homemade labels causes jams when the stickers peel up.
SOURCE: changed caliper on 2005 ford freestar and now brakes are spongie.
When bleading the brakes have someone there watching to make sure the master cylinder never runs out of brake fluid or all of your time spent bleading them will be waisted.
