Best place is at the fuel manifold fittings as that will tell you the pump pressure and the regulated pressure.

SOURCE: acura integra rs no spark no fuel pressure

Could be the main relay. It's behind the dash up above your gas pedal. Look for a gray and brownish box with one large plug in it. Should be easy to find since you don't have cruise control. It will be secured with one 10mm. You can bring it into reach with it still plugged in. Try starting it while tapping on the little plastic box. If it starts, pry off the cover with a flat head screwdriver and re-solder the broken connections. The break in the solder will be on the side with the sharp little things. It will be smaller than a hair. To find it you will need to wiggle it. Have plenty of light. Just hold the soldering tool on the broken one until the solder puddles around it and you're fixed.

SOURCE: fuel pressure for a 89 Acura

Your fuel pressure should be 35-41 psi with your vacuum hose disconnected from pressure regulator and you can attach pressure gage at the bleeder vent on top of the fuel filter make sure your pressue gage is intended for fuel not air.

Bring the main relay from under the left side of the dash into view and tap it with a screwdriver while your trying to start the car. If this starts the car... then you can take the cover off of it and look really close for broken solder. Re-melt the solder and it will work. Don't be surprised if you replace it with another used one and it won't work, most all of these go bad eventually... had to fix many of them.

How much fuel pressure for 91 acura

Acura legend says, 38--46 psi. I believe that spec is with fuel pressure regulator vac line disconnected and plugged. I'm not sure how you are checking fuel pressure? My info says there is a banjo bolt on fuel filter and a service plug in the top of banjo bolt. Usually after the vehicle sits over-night, not much pressure on the system, but, you still need to be aware. Place shop rags around service plug, slowly loosen service plug, then you may need a banjo bolt service adapter to screw in place of the plug so you can use fuel pressure gage.
If you have different model then I need to know model and engine size?

I have a 96 Acura 2.5TL an a screw fell out of the center of my fuel pressure regulatior valve when I took the plastic cap off it. Can anyone tell me what that screw is for an can it be the reason my car...

That screw is probably the pressure regulator adjustment screw, this screw is to adjust fuel pressure. Regulating fuel pressure is very important in newer engines. Suggest going to shop good with fuel pressure problems. Not easy fix for a DIY.

How to replace cabin and fuel filters for 1996 acura 3.2 TL?

For the fuel filter:

Removal & Installation

Many Acura models are equipped with a theft deterrent audio system. Make sure you have the necessary code before disconnecting the battery.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Properly relieve the fuel system pressure, as outlined in Section 5 of this manual.

On 2.2L and 3.0L engines you may have to remove the engine wire harness bracket and power steering feed hose clamp.

  1. Wrap a shop towel around the fittings and, using a proper flare nut wrench, slowly loosen the fuel line fittings.

  1. Remove the banjo bolts from the fuel lines.
  2. Remove the fuel filter clamp retaining bolt and the clamp.
  3. Remove the filter from the vehicle.

A through cleaning of the high pressure hoses is recommended before installation.

To install:

  1. Install the new filter and tighten the clamp mounting bolt to 7 ft. lbs. (10 Nm).
  2. Attach the banjo fittings with new washers in place.
  3. Tighten the banjo fitting bolts to 25 ft. lbs. (33 Nm).

On 2.2L and 3.0L engines you may have to reconnect the engine wire harness bracket and power steering feed hose clamp.

  1. Connect the negative battery cable, then start the engine and thoroughly check for leaks.
