Where to cut ecces hole f0r fuelpump replacement

Not a good idea to do this. If you cut threw a fuel line while cutting the floor, You will catch the vehicle on fire. This would be very difficult to put out, because the fire would be between the floor and gas tank.

Location of ignition module on92f150 4.9 straight6

The ignition module should be mounted on the side of the distributor.
You would need to check to see if the module is getting power from the key, and if the pickup coil in the distributor is providing a signal to the module.
You also need to know if the injectors are getting voltage and a pulse signal.

My ignition coil isn't getting any fire to it.

It may be the ECM if so you wont be getting fuel either turn the switch on and see if you can hear the fuelpump running.

Has fire and is turning over strong but wont start

Probally not getting any gas. Turn your key to the start position and listen to see if you hear your fuelpump come on. It should be a humming noise for a few seconds then cut off by itself. If you hear that then your fuelpump shouldn't be your problem. You should have a valve pin on the fuelrail to the fuel injectors. Remove the small cap and depress the pin on the inside and see if gas squirts out. Do this after turning the switch to the start position. If gas squirts out then your fuel injectors are probally not spraying. Take out your #1 sparkplug according to your firing order which should be labeled somewhere under neath the hood and check it to see if it has any gas on it after a few times trying to crank it. If it doesn't then your fuel injectors are not spraying.

My 1993 mercury capri wont start. it makes the starting noise, but i wont fire. what could be wrong????

A part called an Inertia sensor may have shut off power to your fuelpump. Check your owners manual for the location of this switch. It may be on the side of the trunk beneath the carpet or under a kickpanel by your feet. The part has a button which needs to be pushed to reset it. Hold the button for 2-3 seconds and you should be good.

The Inertia switch is a Fire safety switch for collisions and sometimes trips with a door slamming. If unsuccessful with starting listen for the fuelpump when you turn the Ignition key. If still no noise, then check your fuses or contact Autozone or Oreillys about a fuelpump relay or fuse.

Other component problems usually register in your onboard computer. You should see the "check engine" light on the dash. This would point to a problem other than the Inertia switch which does not give a warning.

1997 F-250 no power to the fuel pump. The fuel pump works. The safety shut off is down but no power in any of the 2 wires to it. changing the fuel pump relay has no improvemnt.

Check the fuse block. Use a test light and don't rely on just looking at fuses. But if the main ignition control unit went bad, it will also cut the power to the fuel pump relay. Autozone will check the main control unit.

The fuel pump cut off switch in the trunk has been pushed how do i reset it

The switch has a button and you push and hold it down for 3 seconds to reset. You may also have the Airride switch which is close to it. That switch is a Rocker style that you just toggle back to ON.

The fuelpump switch has a magnetic Ball inside and it is made to release with a slight impact to turn off the fuelpump and prevent crash fires. If the switch is not tripped by impact, pressing it will not hurt anything.
