The O2 sensor for Bank 1 is located below left front of transmission, in exhaust. Check diag. below.
Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.

Pretty simple you just unplug it and unscrew it with a 7/8 socket or wrench.You can borrow a special socket from auto zone if you need it.Might want to spray it with some WD40 and let it soak for a little too.Good luck

SOURCE: had a fault code for
I've got a 2002 Dodge Dakota, with a V8, and I've got 4 O2 sensors - they're referred to by "Bank #" (which tells you which side it's on, if you've got a V8, for example) and "Sensor #" (which tells you whether it is the "upstream" or "downstream" sensor on that bank.
Upstream is the one before the catalytic converter, and downstream is the one after.
Nothing beats a manual (e.g. Haynes) that can show you the actual view of your vehicle, and where each sensor is. I figured that for the price of the manual and the special, slotted 3/8" drive socket for the O2 sensor, I got the following advantages:
* saved installation labor;
* saved some markup on the part itself;
* now have the manual for future reference;
I figure that just the savings in installation labor paid for the manual and special tool...

Is it Code P1035 or P0135?
It is the Upstream Sensor. 100 Codes ending in 30 thru 35 are dealing with the Upstream Sensor. 100 Codes ending in 36 thru 41 are dealing with the Downstream Sensor.
Let me know if this helped.....
