Battery off how long 1hr, 1year?
can your right foot save the stall (adds air)
yes? might be ISC sticking,
or EGR stuck open,
Get a tune up, clean the EGR, clean the ISC.
once this is done, and still stalls? you need lots of test.

Car runs but stalls we took battery cable off battery and it runs fine

If the voltage on the battery is 14.5V when the car is idling, then more than likely it's not the alternator. the stalling is probably either a fuel or ignition problem.

Check the battery cables. I had the same issues with my 96 tacoma, The battery cable connection at the battery can be cranked down but still be loose. Hard to explain, doesn't make sense, but just check it out.

I would say it may be the distributor, I would start there first. You may want to try a tune up first to see if it helps and I would definitely get my battery checked out since winter is approaching and it has been run down a few times. hope this helps tim

2005 g6 stalling

I would suggest checking your wiring (core wire on the distributor, plug wires and the negative battery ground) I would imagine that the forward motion of the vehicle is possibly making your wires lose connectivity and making the car stall. Just a thought though.
