Question about Cars & Trucks

Open Question

I have a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo . The problem I have is that when I'm driving my car a sudden beeping sound goes off but no sensor turns on . I took it to Midas and they preformed a diagnostic test on it and nothing came up the computer read everything fine and all gages were working fine. At this point I don't knw what to do because it keeps happening. I would hate if something happened to my car if any one has any suggestions please help!! Thanks

My 2000 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo 4 × 4 automatic makes a roaring sound from under the car and a vibration under my feet. When I shift into neutral while driving, it stops. The Trans shifts fine . Any...

A bad u-joint makes a higher frequency sound /vibration than say an unbalanced tire. If you have the v-8, you have all wheel drive and the front driveshaft is always driven. Crawl underneath and wiggle both front and rear driveshafts, if one move significantly more, you've found the culprit. Go ahead and replace all the U-joints at that point.

In my 2000 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo 4 × 4 when driving I hear a roaring sound and a vibration under my feet. But when I shift into neutral it stops. Any suggestions?

wild guess. U-joints bad.? (warning, almost all guesses are wrong)
find someone (a mech) with hands to drive it and ears to hear it
and diagnosis.
grab the drive shaft by hand, (parked LOL)
then man handle it. (think mud wrestling)
can you see the joints flex , in a wrong way?
google that or youtube that, and see right and wrong ways.

the 1st thing that needs to be done is have a mechanical oil pressure test gauge hooked up to confirm the actual reading, the electronic gauge many times is incorrect.

Check your throtle postition sensor. It monitors what postion the throtle is at and sends that info to the ecm. It will go bad and cause that problem.

Alarm sounding upon unlocking door with key

there is a sensor that tells the anti theft module you used the key to unlock the door, it is attached to the door latch or lock cylinder, u must have disconnected the wire to the sensor, so it thinks u are breaking into the car.
