Sounds like the wiper motor either went bad or it is somehow stuck on something or something is stuck on it. most likely just a bad wiper motor which should be an easy fix and not to expensive. good luck

SOURCE: My rear windshield wiper operates

Please remove the wiper arm from the motor by unscrewing the bolt holding it there and re-fix it in 180 degrees direction or whatever suits your car. That adjustment would have to made by you being the person on ground.

SOURCE: 1996 Honda Civic Wiper Spray problems

You will not be able to tell whether the spray nozzle is clean just by looking at it.
Poke it with a fine needle and keep trying to spray. If it is blacked,it will soon clear up.
I take it you can hear the spray motor running when you depress the switch.

SOURCE: odyssey rear window washer fluid not spraying where is reservior

The reservoir is the same one for the front washers. There are two electric pumps on the base of the reservoir (one for front and one for rear). You probably need a new pump. It is accessible behind the panel in front of the front right wheel.

Jeep wrangler wiper fluid will not dispense on front windsheld but will on the rear

Switch is faulty is the first thing comes to my mind. Your spot on tho in your diagnosis, although you may have two pumps and tanks, one for front, one for rear. I would check all my fuses just to be sure, and I would look at all my waster tubes and make sure they are not clogged, check your nozzles too, as sometimes wax can clog them up.

When I pull back wiper lever to spray windshield, wipers move but do not spray windshield. When I turn wiper lever end forward to spray rear window, it sprays front windshield. How is this possible?

Possible there is fault in the cluster switch , possible that the switch is not contacting according to the intended function to power the front washer and rear washer motors.
You need to check the output or using a multimeter the switch continuity of the wiper cluster switch.

The rear window wiper and window water spray will not turn off

This sounds like a bad switch, try dissconnecting the switch for the rear wipers and see if it stops if it does then replace the switch, the motor is pretty get and dry if it runs and the sprayers spray then it sounds like the switch is stuck or bad.start there,

Rear window washer does not spray fluid. When I push the rear window washer button, the front washer/wipers turn on. The rear wipers work normally.

I have the same problem with my 2000 chevy blazer as skornec had posted. I kinda already figured the hose or spray nozzle was plugged. But the problem with checking those items is that I don't know where the hose is located to the back wiper. And the only thing that could be I see that could be the spray nozzle doesn't even have holes that washer fluid could spray from. So basically I just would LOVE if someone could please inform this lame brain of where to find the spray nozzle on the rear window and where in the interior of my blazer does the washer hose run.

My 07 nissan murano rear windshield wiper doesn't work properly it goes the wrong way, not on the window.

You need to adjust the wiper arm location. Loosen the 12 mm or 10 mm nut that holds the rear wiper arm. Wiggle the arm until it comes off. Then turn on the rear wiper for a second and turn it off, leaving the key on. This way the rear wiper motor will do it's sweep, and them park where it's suppose to. Then reattach the rear wiper arm and secure the nut and recheck.

Thanks Jay!

Rear wiper linkge BMWe46 touring 2003 year

Not sure about this exact car but 99% of all wiper motors are retained with a nut ythart lives under the base of the wiper arm and with three or 4 nuts from the rear of the motor. Take the wiper arm off, possibly requiring the use of a 10 mm wrench, and you will see a large nut, remove this. See if the wioper mote is accessed from the trunk, most likly under a clip in panal, split the electrical connector and remove the nuts holding the motor on. You will see that the collar that had the nut accessed from above will be stiff to move on the wiper shaft. Work it off, scotch brite the shaft, run a small wire brush down the typically plastic tube, lube the shaft with chassis grease or white grease, check that it moves freely in the collar and reassemble

good luck

99 Nissan Quest real wiper runs continually when ignition is on

Principles of Operation
Operation of the windshield wiper and washer is controlled by the front wiper/washer amplifier assembly. The front wiper/washer amplifier input comes from the multifunction switch by means of a voltage divider circuit. A constant voltage is applied to the multifunction switch by the front wiper/washer amplifier. When the multifunction switch is moved into the LO, HI, or intermittent position, the voltage is directed through a series of resistors. This results in various voltages being returned to the module for each switch position. The module then grounds the appropriate circuit, based on the voltage signal received back from the multifunction switch. This causes the wipers to run intermittently, or at the appropriate speed. Voltage is supplied to the wiper motor by the CJB fuse F46 (20A).
When the multifunction switch wash button is depressed, it bypasses all of the resistors returning a full voltage signal to the module. The module then grounds the appropriate circuits to operate the windshield washer pump for as long as the switch is depressed. The windshield wiper speed is dependent on the position of the windshield wiper/washer switch.
Voltage for the windshield washer pump is also provided by CJB fuse F46 (20A).
Operation of the rear wiper and washer is controlled by the rear wiper/washer switch.
Voltage is supplied to the rear window wiper motor by the fuse junction panel fuse F44 (10A).
The rear window wiper motor ground is made or broken by the rear wiper/washer switch. When the rear wiper/washer switch is moved into the WIPER position, it grounds the rear window wiper motor circuit, causing the rear window wiper motor to run once every 10-15 seconds.
Voltage to the rear washer pump motor is also supplied by the CJB fuse F44 (10A). The rear washer pump is directly controlled by the rear wiper/washer switch which makes or breaks the ground for the washer pump motor, depending upon its position.
If the vehicle is equipped with a movable liftgate glass, a liftgate glass switch is utilized to prevent rear window wiper operation when the liftgate glass is open. This same switch also causes the rear window wiper to drop down approximately three inches when the liftgate glass latch is released.
