Question about 1999 Suzuki Vitara
Just started all of a sudden When you turn key to accessories everything works fine When you step onn brake for saftey start The engine will not turn over Lots of juice from the battery. Is there a saftey switch somewhere on the brake pedal or Cluth ?? Any help would be apprciated
No switch on the brake but there is a neutral safety switch that would prevent your car from starting if you are in nuetral if you have an automatic transmission. If you have a manual, there is a cutch safety switch and you have to have the clutch all the way to the floor to trip the switch. Make sure your floor mats are clear of your clutch- I have seen that happen time and time again.
Try of engaging the emergency barke instead of pressing the brake pedal and see if that makes a differnce. Let me know how that works for you!
