Yes...usually on one of the fenders...just follow horn wire back...these systems are nowhere as complex as the ones we use now.

Probably there is no relay for the horn , as it is not a big amp draw. Just a fuse in the fuse box.

I have a 2003 ford mustang with no working horn. fuse is good. i can't locate the relay or horn. any ideas?

The horn relay is inside a fuse box under the hood (drivers side). There should be 5 relays. The horn will probably be mounted near the frame (under the engine).

Need horn relay diagram for 87 mustang

Clicking means the relay is getting power. Try a wire from the positive side of the battery directly to the horn's wire conection. If that works your relay is bad for it has bad contacts inside

Need to find the horn relay in a 1993 ford mustang gt I tested the horn and all fuses. I don't have a wiring diagram and chiltons doesn't show the horn circuit

94 was a new model freshening and I have 94. may be similar.

Horn Relay and fuse is in fuse box in engine compartment, driver side in front of strut tower.

Horn System The horn system includes:
  • Dual horns (13832) (one high pitched, one low pitched).
  • Horn blow switch (13A875) which grounds the horn relay, which energizes the horns .
