Question about 2001 Hyundai Tiburon

Car losing battery

I have a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon. Car would not start last evening; took to shop. Although battery was only 2 months old the shop said it was bad and replaced under warranty. They also checked alternator and said it is OK. During drive home the radio shut down, followed by the clock and car then stopped running. When trying to restart ther is a click, click, click noise but motor does not turn over. Any ideas?

Possible faulty starter motor. If it is stuck on, you will not always know, it will drain your battery and burn itself out, particularly the solenoid. It could blow other fuses, check and replace if required. Try replacing starter motor. Some times you can give the starter motor a sharp tap and it will work but not always, first sign of a dodgy starter motor is click click click.

Or maybe a draw on the battery, meaning something is on like a glove box lite or trunk lite. Alternator is suspect too

Flooded Hyundia Tiberon 2007

If your Hyundai, Tiburon refuses to start, it may be something more serious than a flooded engine. When the spark plugs look fine and the fuel injectors are running well, you may need a new charging or starting system for your car. If the starting system fails, then you need a new unit in order to get your Hyundai, Tiburon back on the road. The starting system in your Hyundai, Tiburon includes many parts such as the battery, ignition switch, starter motor and solenoid. Once you have the source of the problem contained, you have complete access to quality replacement parts here. Whether the battery dies or the ignition switch fails, you can find the parts you need for your Hyundai, Tiburon. Get your car back on the road when you check out this selection of charging and starting systems for your car.

Stay away, those need to be pressed into place with a hydraulic press, it is best to leave that to a qualified repair shop

How to get a tire off of my car.

Make sure the car is on a good jack (not a bumper jack) use an old wheel and tire as a safety under the chassis if you must. Spray lube into the lug holes that go through the wheel and let it run down to the center hub. then use a sledge hammer, steel pipe or good baseball bat and give the tire (not the wheel) a good shot on the side. Nine out of ten times it will come off. If not, put the lugs back on leaving them about 1/2" from the wheel, put the car on the ground, start it and turn the steering back and forth.
Good luck
