Suzuki ignis 2002 power steering reservoir

Hello Mina Harker,

Saw your comment go in... Problem is...
"IGNIS" (I'm not getting as a USA model (little data here))...
but what I am looking at seems to be RIGHT-HAND DRIVES...

Which would EXPLAIN why I was seeing the PS tank behind the
RHD (drivers side headlight...

I responded there (Jurily Hawrylak's answer) as well... (if equipped) the power steering PUMP... should be quite obvious near the TOP of your serpentine belt (at least on the diagrams I am pulling up).

- Find the blue filler cap ... near the BRIGHT YELLOW dip stick handle...

At that same level... move your hand in a small circle... FEELING for a BLACK PLASTIC cap.... that says POWER STEERING fluid

Go to Bing homepage

But just for A thought... there is such a thing as an ELECTRIC POWER STEERING on a IGNIS: (worth saying)

SUZUKI IGNIS 1.3 EPS ELECTRIC POWER STEERING COLUMN + ECU KOYO Q1T18172M

auto trans? we cant guess the trans here, must be said.
nor country, as books very by that and who sells em.

2006, most cars new, have none on the A./T
or one can say ,the A/t is like the M/T now.
did you even look , one can look at any tranny and if there is no dip tube there, then its not there.
in about 5min or , 30seconds after lifted.
easy.
the shop manual covers this.
i cant just look yours up as Ignis is not here.

Does a 2002 Aerio have a timing chain or a belt?

Also known as a Liana in some markets, this may have either a "G" series or a "J" series motor in it. This can be checked by finding the engine number - either G16B123456 or J18A123456. The G series is belt driven, while the J series is chain driven (2 chains).

there is a tensioner inside the timing chain cover this is probably loosened up and therefore the chain is loose as well . the oly solution is to remove the cover and tighten the tensioner.
