Whenever the RPM and speedometer won't work the transmission won't change out! What.can possibly be wrong? thanks!!

What make , model and year vehicle ? Don't know how much you know about the modern automobile , how computes and how data transfer happens ! Speedometer , tachometer , fuel gauge , tempreature gauge etc.... Sensor inputs from these sensors are iinputs to the PCM - engine computer and to get to the gauge in the instrument cluster , this info is sent by a message on the serial data bus . The VSS - vehicle speed sensor not only supply's info the speedometer but also the PCM use's for transmission shift points .
How often does this happen (RPM and speedometer drop out ?) Could have lose connector in the wiring harness or at the PCM . A wire that is grounding on on the frame or body .The first place to start would be checking for DTC'S diagnostic trouble code's . Could make diagnostic's a whole lot easier !

How to overall a diff

Overhauling a differential and final drive was routine for most mechanics when I entered the motor trade more than 40 years ago but with the introduction of CAD and CAM and superior oils it has become a lost art reserved for specialists.

I can assure you it is not a task for an beginner without experience. If you have to ask how to proceed it would be very unwise to consider doing the job yourself. You should at least have closely observed a couple of final drive overhauls at first hand because the hypoid rear axle can be a temperamental thing and howl like a banshee if the tooth meshing isn't precise and sometimes in the case of reclaimed gears can howl even if the meshing is correct.

You will require bearing extractors and a press with various mandrels and a deal of experience to recognise what is worn and what is not and a great deal of patience when measuring and selecting shims and setting bearing preloads. You will also require a dial indicator gauge and a small micrometer, a tin of engineers blue or orange and a number of service tools, most of which can be fabricated yourself.

I suggest you begin researching the subject by reading a couple of books. The Motor Vehicle by Newton, Steeds and Garret is a good place to begin though Modern Cars and Commercial Vehicles by A W Judge is many years old but is written for people converting existing skills into those required for those new-fangled automobiles.

Good luck!

Where do I check the hydraulic fluid on a mahindra 3016 hst

I'm not terribly too sure about the Mahindra, but I have recently had to check my hydraulic fluid and I consulted with the manual. Do you have a manual for your vehicle? If you don't, then I would get a repair kit which should have some instructions that could help you out with your situation. https://www.hydrapakseals.com/storefrontCommerce/hydraulicRepair.do

Compliment of the season to all. I am interested in how to fix car wiring problem especially the modern automobiles. In light of this, am soliciting for materials in form of book, preferably soft, that will...

Thanks. Big learning curve ahead for you. I suggest you buy a repair manual specific for your car. The Haynes series of manuals are pretty good. Cost for one manual is about $25. It will have a complete wiring diagram for your vehicle, which is very helpful in tracing electrical faults. Working on cars, it is almost essential to have a digital volt ohm meter. Electronic circuits are very sensitive and have different voltage requirements-that's why you need a DVOM.

Can you please give me the specific oil required for the vehicle?

5w30 conventional, minimum rating SM (all modern quality automobile oils will hold this rating). you may use any brand, try to stick to a major brand. you can also use synthetic oils, which use the same rating system, but provide further protection for your engine. hope this is helpful!
