Have fuel pressure tested. Pump may be getting weak, filter plugged, or not likely but possible, hole in pick-up tube in tank. Make sure you try to have it tested when lower and spitting and sputtering.

How do I fix a 2002 Dodge Dakota V6 engine that is misfiring on Cyls. 1,3,5?

you need to check the plugs for those cylinders and the fuel injector that feeds that side of the engine it may not be working or is plugged with dirt. then it could be a vacuum leak around those cylinders. just some places to start.

I have a 2006 dodge ram 2500 cummins cuts out and sputers at a half of tank but when full of diesel drives great .\

You either have a problem with the lift pump which is unlikely. The sending unit in the tank came apart would be my first thought wouldn't be the first time I've seen that

Truck has 305 motor fuel injected idles fine when in drive barely exelerating it spits and sputers and sometimes dies but when i get into the exelerator a litle bit it doesnt do it

if it is an HEI distributor remove the cap and rotor there is a module under the rotor take out the two quarter inch screws and unplug it take it to your local parts store and have it checked that is the module that controls the injection rate,if it is not HEI then do an injector cleaning, also try running a tank full of high octane gas through it the injectors sound like they have gunk built up in them, hope this gives you a place to start
