Blocked core in both the radiator and heater core .put a radiator flush in the expansion bottle .run car for about 20 miles .then drain and refill with 50/50 antifreeze mix. now to bleed out the air .put heating on full run the engine with bottle cap off push the radiator hose with finger and thumb . to push out the air out of the bottle then replace the cap.

What is error code Hr in the 2007 subaru legacy?

There isn't actually an "Hr" code, but there is this code for the high speed CAN network communication failure. If you've had your car worked on recently I would take it back to whoever worked on it last and have them check it out. Usually caused when someone doesn't tighten a ground wire back up for some reason. Here is a Subaru TSB that covers some of this. http://ww2.justanswer.com/uploads/n9320h/2010-07-16_222648_sub.pdf

Little heat

Check the air divert-er door, does the air blow any harder when the panel controls are set to any other direction? If so check for blockage in the defrost vents.

08 subaru manual transmission had dead battery. tried jumping it and er hc code shows on dash and engine will not start even tho radio and other lights are working. what does the er hc mean? i cannot...

You can't reset it yourself. It takes a scanner at your Local Dealership to do it. People do it, (new battery or dead battery) everyday unaware that doing so can and usually does, arm the theft system and either kills the radio or the whole car. To me it's just another built-in defect that requires dealer assistance. It's a buzz kill I know. They will need your VIN, and then they call HQ to get the code for your radio, which will also bring your whole car back to life.

If your battery is officially dead, start by replacing it. Some vehicles will not jump start if the battery is completely gone, as with a dead short internally. You may still have to get Dealer assistance to clear the Theft system code.

1993 jeep grand cherokee...no heat

there is three things that could be going on here, first the controls could be bad, secound it could be heater blend door acturator, and third it could be heater resister. i am thinking its the controls because you say it displays ER. on air controls witch i'am sure means error, if thats the case its not sending a signal to acturator to move the doors in the heater box, witch in turn will not let heat flow out into car. now i don't think its resister, witch only controls speeds of fan, sense you did not mention that in your question. it could be the acturator its a little electric motor on heater box that moves the doors in heater box, but it gets its signal from the controls on the dash. MONEY, acturator around $45.00, heater controls 150.00 to 200.00 resister around 20.00, and thats just parts this is just a guesstament just giving you an idea of the cost, thats if all three are bad witch i dought they are.

Error code er 2

I dont want to guess a solution for this however, ERR2 represents EJECT. The description of this error is "The Eject is not available". Possibilities are, jammed mechanism or sticky eject button.
