SOURCE: high beams wont turn on.

First place to start is with headlight switch. I did have a case many years ago when both high beams were blown out at once, but this is rare. When you have the headlight switch out, jump power from te low beams to the high beam contacts. If high beams come on, replace switch.

SOURCE: high beam wont turn on, righ high beam work fine

a svinarich, In the engine compartment you will find a fuse box or power distribution box. Look inside the cover and it should tell you which fuse is for the left side high beam. Check the fuse as it may be blown. If the fuse is good then you have to check the wiring to the high beam. Wiggle the wires after turning the high beams on as there may be a short in the wires. Good luck with this.

My low beams wont turn on. only my high beams

low beams are on with the high beams does NOT mean the bulbs are good. The low beams have two separate filaments, one that lights on low beam and one that lights on high beam. That's why the low beams have three terminals but the high beams have only two. It's entirely possible that both low beam filaments have burned out. If the bulbs really are good, then the dimmer switch is the most likely problem.

The low beam headlight on my 2001 buick regal ls wont turn on, but my high beams do.

It could be the low beam lights have gone bad. It is very possible for only the high beams to work, by themselves. If they won't turn on check fuses.

Low beam headlamps wont turn on change bulbs and checked fuses and still wont come on.

did you check for a relay in your fuse panel? there should be a relay that controls your low beams and one for your high beams. check for that and then if high beams are working swap it with low beam relay. if your problem switches to low beams working and high beams not working replace the bad relay.
