You have to pull the door panel off and reach under the window and push up from the bottom. use a little wd40 in the tracks to slick it up if its giving you trouble.

SOURCE: 1997 honda accord with power windows....driver

Before you change make sure there is power on the board , if so the circuit must be checked for delivering voltage as the switch is pressed. the switch can be checked with a multimeter for continuity. Only if there is power to the motor without response must the motor be changed. if not the fault can be the control circuit board, maybe failure of the motor driver.

1995 Ford Taurus front passenger window went down and won't roll up

Remove the switch panel and check to see there is 12V power there.. If there is Push the switch and see if the power comes out of it to drive the motor, if the power is not present check the wire back looking for the short.. usually if the power is missing none of the windows will work. look where the wires come out the door post to the door. look at fuses, If there is power and it does not come through the switch when you push the switch. the switch might be bad. in which case jump the switch to roll window up and buy a new switch (rock if you apply 12v power and the window still will not go up.. you will need to replace the motor. not a hard job. you must remove door panel and remove regulator and motor and replace and reinstall. either junk yard part, craigslist part or new at Rock auto.. Post a comment and let us know what happens.

Window is stuck and wont roll up master power switch broken how to manually pull up window

go on you tube, I'm sure you can find how to take off the door panel. Once you get there, supply positive and negative power to the window motor from your battery, it should go up, if it doesn't ,switch the pos and neg sides on the motor. The motor works by reversing polarity.

My driver side window all of a sudden stopped rolling up and down, how can I fix this?

If it's an electric window,Check you fuses, and make sure you didn't blow one and If that is not it check for frayed wiring, not it again, listen to see if the motor is running when you engage the switch, still not it maybe you need a new motor for your window. If its manual, open your panel and check to see if you stripped something out. Hope this helps. Good luck to you.

My back window rolled down but will not roll up

If it is a manual type window you could have a handle that is stripped out or a bad window regulator. If it's an electric window your motor could be bad. Either way you will have to remove the interior trim panel to access the motor or regulator assembly to inspect them. Also if it's electric make sure to check all your fuses to ensure they are good. Once the door panel is removed if it's electric check for power at your motor if you do have power make with the switch placed in both up and down position the your motor is bad. Inspect the regulator also for damage. If you do not have power at your motor and your fuses are all good then you will have to check your circuit for problems which could include a bad switch, relay or wiring. Hope that helps, gl.

1999 oldsmobile alero power window problems

9 times out of 10 when windows won't roll up or down it is the switch. It is probably just dirty or broke. pop it out of there open it up and check it out. Don't be afraid to do it yourself. if it isn't your switch than try replacing motor/regulator. I am pretty sure it is easiest to get them together. just be careful not to bend the regulator arms!!!!!!

Rear window on 1986 ford bronco

I had the same problem with mine and I drilled out the rivets holding the motor in. Have someone hold the window up when you do this so it don't fall. after you get it drilled and you can let it down you should be able to remove the window from the track through the panel. It has been a while since i had done it but the window motor was very reasonable.... make sure you are getting power to the motor before going through all of this because you might be able to put power to it and make it roll down.
