Question about 2002 Ford Taurus
My driver side window, driver side tail light, and dash lights on my '02 Taurus SE don't work anymore. I have a feeling it is my master switch, because for a little while, if i tinkered with it, my window would work, and my dash lights would come on when they wanted, but after tinkering with it so much it did nothing... that's when my tail light when out. Are these at all connected? I know my bulb in the tail light is still good, we checked.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Replace the fuse. Most of the time when the tail light fuse is blown it will go un-noticed. This is why they combine the instrument cluster lighting, and tail lights on the same fuse. That way if the dash lights are out you know the tail lights must be out also.

Why don't you take a peek under the dash, around the brake pedal? Maybe
it's just a loose connection. If you don't find anything obvious then
you need to get a copy of the wiring diagram for the car.
If I dont mistake, the license plate lights and tailights are both on the same harness so that may be a bulb due to a surge with your issue.
Was it just your cluster lights only that went out or was it the whole dash, such as radio and HVAC control lights as well? Try using a voltmeter on the tail/brake light plugs when the brake is pressed and see if you get any readings, while the plugs are out check the bulbs just in case. a bad ground or electrical surge can casue these kind of issues, but check these things first and let us know, I will check the factory electrical manual for you on those items to be sure.
