Question about 1996 Saab 900
I am trying to turn over engine in daughter's car while she is on holiday and am having no luck, Please advise.
First I suggest you remove any other keys & rings. Perhaps the wrong key was pushed in the first place and is jammed!
second, spray wd-40 into the tumbler area let soak overnight.
third, the tumblers are spring loaded, take a pair of vice grip pliers and clamp the key blank head that is exposed firmly. Try and jiggle up/down while trying to pull straight out.
Failling that, the ignition core will probably best be removed & replaced.
