Question about Cars & Trucks

Camshaft position sensor gives the position of cam related to the engine crankshaft which is useful for the fuel supply; ignition, injection, valve opening and closing system. Magnetic type sensor is used on the timing cover over the camshaft gear. Camshaft position sensor is same as that of crank shaft speed sensor in terms of construction and working.
