Put a drain pan under the radiator drain pet ****.Drain the rad COLD. Loosen,but do net remove the four waterpump pulley bolts.Remove the serpentine belt. Remove the water pump pulley now. Put the drain pan on the floor under the water pump. Take off the bypass hose if equipped.Undo the bolts securing the water pump. Make sure you remove ALL the bolts.With a soft hammer tap the front of the pump until it separates from the block. Remember too much force means that a bolt is likely still installed. Once the pump is off remove all traces of gasket from the block.Go to the parts store and purchase the new pump. It is a good idea to take the old one too just in case they need to compare it ,or, there is a core charge on the old unit. You will get ir back right away if you have it with you. Get a small tube of contact cement as well and use it lightly to secure the gasket to the water pump.This will hold the gasket to the pump and make sure the gasket come off with the pump if you ever change it again.Reverse the procedure to install it.Close the rad petcock. Refill the coolant ,with new, making sure the air bleeder is loosend. Fill up rad until you get no more air from the bleeder.After that, put the drain pan under the rad and run the car. Let the coolant expand and push out the remaining air.Once the car is up to temperature fill the rad and put the rad cap on. Fill the bottle to the normal level and recheck it the next day and add as necessary.

You will have to drill out the rivets that hold the regulator to the inside of the door panel. then carefully slide the control arms out of the tracks on the window. You should be able to then position the motor where you can see the electrical connection. It should just plug in. You may have to take the glass out in order to have room to get the regulator out of the door.

USUALLY I LOOSEN ALL OF THE BOLTS BEFORE I TAKE THE BELT OFF TO HELP KEEP THE PULLEY FROM TURNING... USE A LONG SCREWDRIVER OR PRYBAR .. PUT IT BETWEEN THE TWO OTHER BOLTS AND LOOSEN THE 3RD. CONTINUE TILL ALL ARE LOOSE.. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY REMOVED 2 OF 3 BOLTS THEN RE INSTALL THE OTHER 2 A FEW THREADS SO YOU CAN PUT THE SCREWDRIVER IN BETWEEN THEM TO STOP THE PULLEY FROM TURNING.
