Question about 1995 GMC Jimmy
I did look in the engine compartment next to the cruise control module and there are two rubber vacuum lines, one is dry rotted significantly and the other that goes underneath the throttle body I believe is literally split in half about 3to4 inches along the rubber line.the crusie control used to work intermitently, now it finally stopped working. I do miss my cruise control.

SOURCE: No fuel to the engine
'puter wont deliver fuel if oil pressure switch is reading bad weak or faulty..or if ignition is not sending proper signal to 'puter....on the mechanical side...you could have a bad fuel pressure regulator sending all fuel right back the return line and not into the engine/ clogged fuel rail due to using some sort of nasty fule injector cleaner than turned the lines to jello inside..etc .etc.

sounds like it is loosing vacuum check all the lines for a crack even the engine lines will cause it to loose vacc. pressure. if it is not run to the vacuum reserve canister you may not have enough vacc. to hold the actuator in several times I just run new lines and that helped and not very costly.

If it's a metal line, Your local auto parts store should be able to order it for you or worst case you'll have to make your own from straight tubbing and a bender. I don't recall ever seeing diagrams for metal lines, usually there pre made to replace the factory one or you can splice a replacement piece in place of a damaged section. AS far as the line goes to the module, try following it up to it with a good flahlight and a sharppe from the rear forward.
