Ford f150 fusebox - 2003 Ford F150 Regular Cab

Fuse 2 15amps, also Fuse 30 30amps. located in under dash drivers side FuseBox. Remove fuse cover.


If fuse is bad, replace with same amp size 5amp fuse, If fuse filiment is good, (not broke, burned). Or if with new fuse and gauges still wont work. then a wire may be at fault.... no or low voltage, a short, a ground, bad connection. Use a volmeter to test electrical connections. You may have to pull the cluster to check for power to cluster. 5-6v to powet cluster.
if all electrical checks out, then the cluster its self has malfunctioned.

Fully charge your battery. Some years of Ford F150 had parts which would interrupt any battery drain to preserve the battery. This would include the charging circuit which was see as parasitic.

The Antitheft would also cause problems in the electric circuit.

The newer Alternators are not made to work as well as the old ones. If the new Alternators have to work too hard they will fail from overheating so a bad battery could cause the Alternator to never catch up.

Also go to Autozone.com for a free wiring and fusebox diagram when you register your truck online. Check if there is a inline fuse within the first 30" from the Alternator. Or check for a charging Relauy in the Powerbox diagram.

The washer pump is on the same circuit as the wiper motor.If the wiper motor is working,then check the voltage,with a test light(purchase at the parts store cheap).When pushing the button to activate the washer,the test light should light up ,when touching the wire on the pump.and have the clip on the test light on a good ground on the vehicle.If it lights up,replace the washer pump,if it does not light up,replace the washer pump button.

check your fusebox in the truck. and under the hood for a blowen fuse. if there none. then you have a sencer prolbem. it not getting fire.
